教育背景

1994年毕业于原华中理工大学计算机系计算机系统结构专业,获工学博士学位。19965月至19968月获德国DAAD交换学者奖学金,在德国Chemnitz大学从事有关SCI互连的SMP集群计算机的科研合作。19984月至200012月赴香港大学从事博士后研究,期间于19991月至200012月赴美国南加州大学继续从事博士后研究工作。2000年底回国工作至今。

研究方向

主要研究领域为计算机体系结构、并行与分布式处理、虚拟化技术与云计算、大数据、网络安全、集群计算和网格计算、对等计算、网络存储与并行I/O等。

工作经历

金海,博士,华中科技大学教授、博士生导师,长江学者特聘教授,国家杰出青年基金获得者,中国计算机学会会士,华中科技大学“服务计算技术与系统教育部重点实验室”主任,集群与网格计算湖北省重点实验室主任,“大数据技术与系统湖北省工程实验室”主任,清华大学、复旦大学兼职教授。国务院特殊津贴专家、国务院学位委员会第六、七届学科评议组成员、第六届教育部科学技术委员会信息学部委员。973计划“计算系统虚拟化基础理论与方法研究”、“云计算安全的基础理论和方法研究”首席科学家、教育部重大专项“中国教育科研网格ChinaGrid”计划的专家组组长、“十二五”国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)信息技术领域主题专家组专家、“十一五”国家863计划“高效能计算机及网格服务环境”重大项目专家组成员。中国计算机学会常务理事、湖北省计算机学会理事长、中国计算机学会青工委副主任、中国计算机学会高性能计算专委会副主任委员/普适计算专委会委员/服务计算专委会委员、中国电子学会云计算/物联网/信息安全专家委员会委员。教育部“长江学者和创新团队发展计划”创新团队学术带头人、湖北省自然科学基金创新团队学术带头人。

金海是IEEEIEEE计算机学会高级会员、ACM会员,全球网格论坛策划委员会(GFSG)委员。现任《IEEE Transactions on Computers》杂志、《IEEE Transactions on Parallel andDistributed System》杂志、《IEEETransactions on Cloud Computing》杂志、《Parallel Computing》杂志、《World Wide Web》杂志、《InternationalJournal of Grid and Utility Computing》杂志、《InternationalJournal on Web and Grid Services杂志、《Journal of Science andTechnology》杂志、《Frontiers of ComputerScience》等杂志的编委、网格与普适计算国际学术会议指导委员会主席、亚太服务计算国际学术会议指导委员会主席、IEEE/ACM集群和网格计算国际会议指导委员会委员、集群和协同计算国际会议指导委员会委员、IFIP网络与并行计算国际会议指导委员会委员、泛在与智能计算国际会议指导委员会委员、自主与可信计算国际会议指导委员会委员。先后150余次担任国际学术会议/程序委员会主席/副主席、500余次担任国际学术会议程序委员会委员,并100余次在国际/国内学术会议上作大会主题演讲或特邀报告。


金海在国内外正式发表学术论文700余篇,其中在IEEE/ACM期刊上发表论文50余篇。获国家发明专利120余项,获国家软件著作版权110项。主持了一批重大科研项目,包括973项目、教育部重大专项、国家杰出青年基金项目、国家自然科学基金重大/重点项目、863重点项目、CNGI项目、霍英东高等院校青年教师基金项目、国际合作项目等。
